Giving Kitchen (GK) is a nonprofit that provides emergency assistance to food service workers in Georgia through financial assistance and a network of community resources.
GKs financial assistance grants are eligible for food service workers impacted by illness, injury, death or a natural disaster based on financial need and a defined set of criteria.
The GK Stability Network also connects food service workers with national, regional and local social service organizations for needs related to housing, transportation, mental health, medical, child care assistance and more.
Anyone is encouraged to use the GK app to refer food service workers to apply for financial assistance and/or referrals if ever in need. Food service workers can also apply for themselves directly. The GK app also allows users to see upcoming events that support Giving Kitchen, to read stories about people who have been helped and to give back.
